Carolyn G.

I was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2002 when a chest x-ray showed a spot on my lung. After surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, I have now been cancer free for more than 10 years. I have two grown children, both of whom live in New York City. I support women who are newly diagnosed and remind them how important it is to stay positive and live life to the fullest. I share my voice because I had a very difficult time finding a lung cancer support group because there's not a long list of long term survivors. I want to let people know they're not alone.
